Just to update my poor blog untouched for half a year...

The final exams finally ended and i am officially the "ministry of ukur tanah".

Trying to look for job that is related to my field have still to no avail.

However, i have so many places wanting to visit for these days.

When we are challenged in the arguement, we become even mad, we start to raise our voice, show our fist, talk foul languages....

Remember, they are just like us in the same line...

The fight will not stop... because we are them, and they are US

You want them to be silent when you want silent

But can you shut up when they want you to be silent?

You went out with another guy/girl who is after you for a tea, and you think it's just tea

But when they went out with another guy/girl who is after them, do you think it's just tea?

You want them to buy you gorgious gift

can you afford another gorgious one for them?

DO you want this to happen?

this is why we are different from them, our values, personality, behaviour and etc

After feeding my dog, I lie on my bed and fell asleep. 10 minutes later, I was half awake. I tried to think if i've got anything important left behind before i turn off the light and continue my REM sleep. SUDDENLY, mei san's figure suddenly pop up in my mind... She was dressing in pink T and navy blue jean...her image was blur and far. When i try to imagine her as clear as i could, ..... i heard her murmuring, "Carol, why you never update you blog one~~~~"

And here I am blogging again ...

24th December 2008 - Wednesday

I celebrated the eve in "the apartment"... the curve
I've heard from my friend saying that this restaurant is serving "bad" food, and well, she got a bingo again... the food isn't so impresive neither taste average (lower than average i suppose)...
BUT It's the only option that left for us in the crowded place in the curve... The apartment has no queue.....!!!! and so we went in...we reached there at 8.45pm and finished at 11.15pm... what we did there was just ...wait, ...keep waiting,.... and waiting....

The food for that night was not expensive, it cost us RM55.00 only for each person (not included drinks). It comes with a starter, main dish and finally dessert.

This is the starter: Oysters in 3 sauces (Garlic, ginger, sweet and sour)

This is my starter: Dunno what with chicken slices

The main dish: 3 point lamb with sweet potatoes, pumpkin, purple cabbage and sauce
Erm.... another main dish i never had a chance to take the picture, because too hungry..
It's actually turkey with sweet potatoes and turkey sauce

This is my dessert: CHocolate mousse with strawberry

This one i dunno call what... sth with Pavlova

The food in "the apartment" is just like what i've said... i would rate 40 out of 100.

Perhaps it was christmas eve, so the quality of food aint that good.

It's been a long while since i last update my blog, hahaa

This time i'm gonna bring something special to my friends here, a little bit about charity and also to arouse human conscience about killing animals...

This is moon bear 月熊, I bet you hear this name for your first time in your life...

Moon bear can be found in the southern asia (china), it is also called The Asiatic Black Bear. The name, "moon bear" is given to this species of bear because of the V-shaped patch of cream or yellow colored fur on their chest (Animalasia, 2008), which look like a moon shape.

Moon bears are not in danger of extinction, so what's so special about them?
"In countries across Asia, thousands of bears live a life of torture on bear farms, so that their bile can be extracted and used in traditional medicine to cure ailments ranging from headaches to haemorrhoids. Bears are confined in cages which vary from agonisingly tiny "crush" cages to larger pens, all of which cause terrible physical and mental suffering" (Jill, 2008).

There are eight species of bears be found around the world and Moon bears are slightly larger than other bears, it can live up to 30 years in the wild, but the farm bear can only stay up to 12 years of life.
Below are some pictures to show how these bears suffer.

This bear was rescue by the vet.

Every bear that was caught by the hunter will undergo a little surgery just to open a hole in the chest and pull it gall slight out for easy extraction of the bile. They lost their freedom in the day after they were caught, they were caged in cell of their size until the day they die.

The little moon bear can do nothing but wait to get to the heaven

The rebellious bear will be beaten and tortured until it gets tire.

This bear fight back by struggling hardly in the cage. It nose was bleeding and it hands get hurt and exhausted. They learn helplessness lying down in pain...

SO... Stop using bear's bile and support the moon bear rescue!!!

PAY Back - HARI Balasan

Yeap Yeap Yeap, it's the PAY-BACK day for our beloved psycho lecturers....(formally known as Student-Lecturer day). It's a day where students suppose to show their true colors to the lecturers, and lecturers aint suppose to get mad if being offended...hahaha, but you see, psychology students are always forgiving and magnanimous, kekeke we just don't pay back openly in this way...

Pay Back Day was held in KPD AE-1, from 12 to 2pm. About 20 lecturers and more than 100 students attended during that day. We have Mr Franklin, Ms Winnie, Dr NG, Dr Goh, Dr Hera, Dr AnnaSui~, Jay, Farah, Fatimah, Gerald...etc. We sing song, play games only~~

Again here i was with my friend again in Neway from 10.30 until 1.00pm
Then, we head towards "The Garden" for lunch at Fong Lye tea House....
Sharp at 3.30pm, the moment came... "Narnia, prince Caspian" the long-awaited movie that i desperately wanna watch~~

After Prince Caspian, we went to Bangsa for dinner @ Alexis Bar and lounge

Forgotten what cake is this, but it taste like pie, waffle...

The topping includes strawberries, bluebarries and some nuts, not sweet for the 1st layer and the 3rd layes, but so milky...the interesting part is the second layer of the cake, that's marsh mallow, and it's the one which make the cake taste a bit sweeter.... overally, out of 10, i would rate it 8.2

Well, this is interesting, can you ever guess what cake is this? I bet nearly 90% of the human being in this universal couldn't hit the correct buttom at alll....

erm, this is Tiramisu...Haha cool

the red color thingy is strawberry Jam...

the topping consists of nuts, honey, maltose (i suppose)... The layers are the normal one

The whole thing is just perfect...

out of 10, i would rate 8.5...kekeke

After the long plan and frequent discussions.....the scary but exciting day finally arrives!!! Skytrex!!! never heard of that? try visit the website http://www.skytrex-adventure.com/content.html ...
Skytrex Adventure is located at Taman Pertanian Malaysia , Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Shah Alam. It is open on weekends and public holidays from 9am to 5pm.

The height of this "ladder" is about 4 Floors of a building

Before starting, we need to wear a complicated rope kind of thing, the safety belt i call...hahaha with two carabiners ( one long and one short )and a pulley. Before going for the real and dangerous activities, we went on a brief training session. Basically, what we need to do is so swing from one tree to another...kekek like monkey, but it's not as easy as you think... a lot of energy and brave needed!!

Ok, now just a brief one about this skytrex.The person incharge for this skytrek activity is Mr Julian, he is a france guy, very polite but rude in driving... we almost being flung away at the back of his Hilux truck. He drive so damn fast~~!!! but it's kinda fun actually....wish to be there in the truck again~~ hohohoho
The charge for this skytrex is RM35 per adult and 25 for children, and OF COX that's always a special price for student, we pay only RM31 per kepala...

After skytrexing~~ we went for cycling around taman pertanian~~~

What were you doing at 2:28:01 in the afternoon on 12 May 2008?
Well, for me, i was having gala time with my friends at college, talking, laughing, sharing jokes and enjoying our life.
Exactly during what i was doing, over 80,000 people in CHINA suffered from dramatic threatening disaster, a magnitude 7.9 earthquake struck near Chengdu in the Eastern Sichuan region of China. (Wikipedia, 2008).

More than 16,000 victims are death and about 66,000 are seriously injured, more than thousands are still missing.
It was the deadliest and strongest earthquake to hit China since the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, which killed approximately 250,000 people The reason of the earthquake (although i don't what's the below paragraph is about, but i decided to put it up as remembrance)
The Sichuan earthquake of May 12, 2008, occurred as the result of motion on a northeast striking reverse fault or thrust fault on the northwestern margin of the Sichuan Basin. The earthquake's epicenter and focal-mechanism are consistent with it having occurred as the result of movement on the Longmenshan fault or a tectonically related fault. The earthquake reflects tectonic stresses resulting from the convergence of crustal material slowly moving from the high Tibetan Plateau, to the west, against strong crust underlying the Sichuan Basin and southeastern China. What disturbing me the most... is the schools collapse in the epicenter. Children as young as 4 were killed in the disaster. Imaging how the schools building collapsed... one floor pancake on top of the others......

It was a super-duple HOT evening before my Boring class with Mr Pual Raj begun....
I was being invited to a luxury Hotel for Hi-tea by a world class "Philanthropist", my MOM :P

Eastin Hotel - Located @ the latest landmark on prestigious Jalan Damansara, Petaling Jaya, it is a First Class Executive Hotel catering to both business travellers and leisure holiday makers.

The hotel consists 3 type of room (i guess), the normal room, the executive room and the VIP room. Well, i do not know about the rest for the normal room and VIP as i was only brought to the executive one.

There are 3 floors for Executive luxurious living, especially fot businessman or businesswoman. If you staying at the Executive Floors, you can probably enjoy the offer that is little extra. ONLY guests who stay at the Executive Floors are welcome to use the facilities of the Executive Lounge that caters for dining and light snacks. Complimentary evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres (I also dunno what this mean, as i just copy from the menu) are served daily. You can even surf net, read books, enjoy the music played, watch DVD and astro and read news paper there without mixing in the crowd in the ground floor lounge...kekeke
